REGISTRATION ROTTERDAM
Rotterdam Expat Centre provides a one-stop-shop service for international newcomers in the Rotterdam Area. In order to use Rotterdam Expat Centre for municipal registration you have to complete an online form to request an appointment.
To make things as easy for you as possible, we have drawn-up a step-by-step plan.
SELECT THE LENGTH OF YOUR STAY
This is about the total duration of your stay in the country, it does not matter how long you stay at your Corporate Housing Factory address.
Are you coming to the Netherlands for less than 4 months? Then you can apply for a citizen service number (BSN) when you register as a non-resident of the Netherlands in the Register Niet Ingezetenen (RNI). Unfortunately, you cannot make an appointment at The Rotterdam Expat Centre for this registration. You can find more information on the website of the Municipality of Rotterdam .
If you are staying in the Netherlands longer than 4 months you can book your appointment at Rotterdam Expat Centre. During this appointment you will receive your BSN through the municipal registration and/or residence permit from the IND and/or will provide biometrical information to the IND. Go to the next step.
MAKE AN APPOINTMENT
Open the website of Rotterdam Expat Centre and click “Make an appointment”. After selecting date and time you have to make the appointment final by providing some personal information about you, your accompanying family members and your employer and/or relocator. Please fill in the personal information of all people attending the appointment.
BRING ALL THE REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
When visiting the Rotterdam Expat Centre, you need to bring some documents. Make sure to bring the documents for each individual registering.
- Passport or national ID card (EU)
- Completed print-out of the application form
- Residence permit (if applicable)
- Birth/marriage certificate
- Housing permit (if applicable)
- Proof of occupancy: signed rental/tenancy agreement
Click the button below to request your signed letter for registration. With this letter we formally confirm that for a certain period, you are living in a Corporate Housing Factory apartment in Rotterdam
SEND US YOUR PROOF OF REGISTRATION
When you send us your proof of registration by email, you don’t have to pay city tax anymore. Please be aware that all extra costs (for example governmental taxes) that may result from the registration at this address can be for your own account. The costs are for your stay in the city and are not address-related.
