REGISTRATION AMSTERDAM
IN Amsterdam provides a one-stop-shop service for international newcomers in the Amsterdam Area. In order to utilize IN Amsterdam for municipal registration you have to complete an online form to request an appointment.
To make things as easy for you as possible, we have drawn-up a step-by-step plan.
SELECT THE LENGTH OF YOUR STAY
This is about the total duration of your stay in the country, it does not matter how long you stay at your Corporate Housing Factory address.
Are you coming to the Netherlands for less than 4 months? Then you can apply for a citizen service number (BSN) when you register as a non-resident of the Netherlands in the Register Niet Ingezetenen (RNI). You can find more information on the website of the Municipality of Amsterdam
If you are staying in the Netherlands longer than 4 months you have to make an appointment at IN Amsterdam. During this appointment you will receive your BSN through the municipal registration and/or residence permit from the IND and/or will provide biometrical information to the IND. Go to the next step.
MAKE AN APPOINTMENT
Open the website of IN Amsterdam and scroll down to the form “Online appointment form for individuals”. After specifying the number of people attending the appointment, the length of your stay, and providing some personal information you can submit a request for your appointment at IN Amsterdam. When you have completed the form please call IN Amsterdam at +31 (0)20 254 7999 to schedule a date and time for the appointment.
BRING ALL THE REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
When visiting IN Amsterdam you need to bring some documents. Make sure to bring the documents for each individual registering.
- Valid identification (passport or identity card)
- Birth and, if applicable, marriage certificate (must be presented within 3 months of the appointment at your local city district office)
- Proof of occupancy: signed rental/tenancy agreement or home purchase agreement
- Employment agreement (only for EU citizens who would like to receive a sticker from the IND in their passport)
- Partners and/or children accompanying the applicant can also register at IN Amsterdam
Click the button below to request your signed letter for registration. With this letter we formally confirm that for a certain period, you are living in a Corporate Housing Factory apartment in Amsterdam.
SEND US YOUR PROOF OF REGISTRATION
When you send us your proof of registration by email, you don’t have to pay city tax anymore. Please be aware that all extra costs (for example governmental taxes) that may result from the registration at this address can be for your own account. The costs are for your stay in the city and are not address-related.
